1987-1990: Opbygning af en landsdækkende jordprofildatabase i Landskontoret for Planteavls kvadratnet, samt en landsdækkende kortlægning af potentielle marginaljorde.
1990-1998: Koordinator vedrørende opbygningen af en europæisk jordbundsanalysedatabase knyttet til det europæiske jordbundskort i skala 1.1000000.
1992- : Dansk koordinator på Enreca-projektet “Nutrient circulation” ved University of Ghana, hvor der bl.a. foretages studier af Harmattanstøvs næringstofindhold, vandingsbetingede landbrugssystemer og jordbundudviklingen i tropisk regnskov.
1992- : Studier af jernkappedannelse i bronzealdergravhøje og næringsstofindhold i bronzealderjorde
