Newsletter 19: Now into its tenth leg, the Galathea expedition has reached the Solomon Sea north east of Australia. VÆDDEREN’s crew, scientists and educators will be spending the holiday period here.

Newsletter 18: Today saw the changeover of VÆDDEREN’s crew. The crew which had manned Galathea 3 and sailed her safely from port to port was relieved by new forces.

Newsletter 17: Geological equipment has been fully deployed this week on board VÆDDEREN. We have heard plenty from our land based projects in the Solomon Islands, too.
